The Factor’s Office, Nutwood House

The Factor's Office is a luxury boutique room, with separate entrance, garden space and ensuite, situated as part of the historic Nutwood House. Formally part of the Earl of Cromartie estate with magnificent views of the valley and less than 5 minutes walk to Strathpeffer village and amenities. Situated in a beautiful peaceful location, a great base to explore the Highlands. There are many activities to enjoy, forest walks, mountain biking, fishing etc. Can also be booked with The Lodge. The space This unique room was once the Factor's office of the Laird of Cromartie's estate, next to Castle Leod, the seat of the Mackenzie clan. The entrance lobby is where crofters would have waited to pay their rent. It is renovated to a high standard with a luxury ensuite. Enjoy your own parking space and garden area with stunning views. Kettle and refreshments are provided, there are no cooking facilities, but there are several cafes, a deli and restaurant in Strathpeffer where you can enjoy breakfast and cooked meals.
