Haven in the Hills
Haven in the Hills
Description
A higgledypiggledy garden flat in a Victorian house built in the 1840s. It's perfect for a couple or solo traveller, it has a cosy cottagey feel with eclectic decor. It's cool in the Summer but central heating & a wood burning stove make it toastie for winter retreats. It is a short walk to the town centre via a steep hill or the 99 steps through the Rose Gardens. It's a magical place in the clouds, in the middle of the Malvern Hills, located on a quiet single track road. The space Wooden and slate floors and lots of original features make this a real character property. Bring your slippers as slate floors can be cold. The deep slipper bath requires a bit of agility to get into but is a super luxurious experience after a long walk. Open the stable door whilst cooking dinner and connect with the outdoors, gaze through the velux ceiling window at the stars while you enjoy a lie in under the down douvet. Switch on the electric blanket for extra cosiness. Guest access You'll have the entire flat to yourselves. You will access it by a key safe so can arrive at your leisure. Other things to note The bath is a slipper bath which is like sitting in an arm chair, it has a shower above it, you'll need to be a bit nimble to climb in as the sides are high, it's worth it if you fancy an extra luxurious soak. There is free road side parking but park close to the wall and put your wing mirrors in.
