Lovingly restored semi-detached mediaeval stone cottage with own terrace just across the yard from our house. Perfect for short breaks or longer stays if you are home working. Our large garden is yours, so watch dragonflies on the pond from the summerhouse and sunsets over the black mountains from our field. Modern, sunny kitchen, underfloor heating, calm sitting room, curved staircase to beamed room with double bed & shower/bathroom. Additional breakout/sleep space in my amazing garden shed. The space Our garden (rather wild now) was in its day, televised, open for charity, and remains a magical place for our grandchildren. Your place has its own small private outside area but I expect you will find better spaces to settle, in the field, summerhouse or my garden shed, a haven for calm thinking and creative work. Your place is bordered by a quiet lane deep in Herefordshire farming country, so occasional cars and tractors pass by. There are many things to do, and places to explore. Plenty of excellent local walks, nice pubs, wonderful old churches, all that is best in English rural life. The river at Ross is lovely, and cathedral cities of Hereford and Gloucester each 30 minutes away. Guest access WiFi is excellent. Towels, sheets, crockery etc all supplied and I am happy to offer anything either of us has forgotten. On arrival we would ask you, please, to drive into our courtyard, past the pale green front door of our 3 storey house, and park by the far end of the cottage, where you will see shallow steps down to your front door. Other things to note We have extensive experience of hosting others including volunteers from all over the world who have worked with us in the garden.
