Silence, greenery and starry skies: Valtellina the way locals live it. 🏡 Arrival changes everything You park steps from the door — no stairs, no thresholds — and the first thing you notice is the silence: just wind in the fir trees and, far off, cowbells on the pastures. In front of you, the Orobie range. The air is cooler, cleaner. Your shoulders drop on their own. 🏠 The space Inside, 40 bright, well-kept square metres where everything is at hand. The kitchen is genuinely complete: gas hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, Italian moka and coffee machine, toaster, full crockery and pantry basics already there — arrive and cook, no errands needed. Next to the dining area there's a proper desk workspace if you need to stay connected: WiFi, plus a TV with Netflix and Prime Video for lazy evenings. 🛌 The night In the evening the studio transforms: a double sofa bed for two and bunk beds for two more — the perfect setup for a family. Room-darkening shades keep it truly dark well into the morning, mosquito screens let you sleep with the windows open, and the fresh mountain air cools the night even in high summer. For the little ones: a crib and toys. 🚿 The bathroom A comfortable shower, hairdryer, mirror with a socket right where you need it, and a courtesy kit ready for you: shampoo, shower gel and soap. Guest access Triangia is a panoramic hamlet above Sondrio, at 800 m: a plateau of meadows, woods and trails overlooking the Orobie Alps. On foot / nearby: Trattoria Triangia — right in the hamlet: family-run, few tables, true Valtellina cooking (pizzoccheri!). Booking recommended. Triangia lake (~2 km): a walk among fir trees, picnic area and a treetop adventure course. Trails to Monte Rolla, the S. Bernardo church and the Rhaetian slope viewpoints. A few minutes by car: Sondrio centre — 7.5 km (~15 min): Castel Masegra with the CAST mountain museum, the historic Scarpatetti quarter, Piazza Garibaldi. Supermarkets and the train station are here too. Agriturismo Gaggi and Sondrio's historic trattorias, like Cima 11. Day trips: Via dei Terrazzamenti — Valtellina's heroic terraced vineyards, on foot or by e-bike. Sentiero Valtellina — 30 km of cycling path from Sondrio to Tirano. Bernina Red Train (UNESCO) from Tirano — ~30 min by car. Valmalenco — skiing and hiking ~20 min away. Bormio thermal baths — ~1h15 for a wellness day.
