A Hut on the Hill

Traditional yet luxurious Shepherd's Hut, set in idyllic private countryside of the Royal Forest of Dean. The Hut is perfectly located overlooking the horse shoe bend of the River Severn, with beautiful panoramic views on your door step. The space Our lovely self-contained Shepherd's Hut is fully equipped with a comfortable king size bed and TV. The hut has a separate fold down dining table for that extra room. Be cosy all year round with the use of under floor heating. The kitchenette is fitted with beautiful oak worktops, a Belfast sink, a full size under-counter fridge (with small freezer above), a combination oven & counter top hob, kettle, toaster, cooking pans, frying pan, and a range of high quality crockery and cutlery. There is an ensuite shower with a hand washing basin, toilet and an oil-filled wall mounted radiator warms the Hut. The Hut also has a small storage cupboard for bags/suitcases, and 2 large drawers under the bed. Fresh towels and bedlinen provided. A selection of teas, coffee are included. Outside the Hut there is a medium sized stone paved area with a table and chairs for al-fresco dining and admiring the spectacular view of the River Severn, also a chiminea for those late nights under the stars. The Shepherd's Hut is in a traditional setting - in an elevated position overlooking the River Severn. The area is neatly mown around the Shepherd Hut, with some newly sown wild flower areas. The immediate locality is abundant with wildlife including deer, muntjac and birds of pray. Breakfast will include: -Coffee, Tea, Sugar -Butter, Jams There are facilities in the hut for cooking and a local shop about a 5 minute drive for other groceries. Please note- we have 3 other shepherds huts on site which are approximately 50-70 yards apart but they do no overlook each other and are completely private. Only interaction you may have with other guys will be at the car park. If your bringing a dog they will need to need carefully watched/ kept on leads as the hut does not have a secure garden. Guest access The parking for the Hut is located right out side so no need for dragging your bags over grassy fields.
