A recently renovated 17th Century Mill House situated in a beautiful valley in Batcombe - 5 mins from Bruton and the Hauser & Wirth gallery, Osip, and the wonderful Newt. Stourhead is also nearby. Ideal for a couples 5* weekend or a family getaway. Lovely walk across fields to the friendly village pub - the Three Horseshoes, and walks from the door over extensive open countryside. You'll have a beautiful river and a weir you can swim in just moments away. Child friendly and dog friendly. The space Large open spaces with oak beams and exposed walls. Located on a 55 acre organic farm with open pasture (over which you are welcome to roam) and a river running through the middle with a swimming creek next to a small weir and jetty - ideal for swimming if you fancy it ! Large outside patio with table chairs and parasol and steamer chairs with pads (in the summer). Guest access The entire Mill House and the garden- directly in front of Mill House. Guests can also use the tennis court at the owners discretion - by arrangement, and at their own risk. Separate drive and parking area. Free to roam over the farmland and beyond. Other things to note There is a king size bed, a twin bedroom and a double sofa bed downstairs at the snug end of one of the living rooms. So a preferable number of 4 and a maximum capacity of 6. But please note that the twin bedroom is only accessible through the double bedroom area - but that bedroom area can be screened off by a large curtain if required - see photos. One well behaved small dog allowed - two at a push. This must be confirmed prior to booking.
