The 'Wee Snug' is a modern spacious 2 bedroom (1x double and 1x twin), accommodation giving you more privacy or extended option, with full Hostel access. With a family shower-room, WC & whb; fully fitted compact kitchen; comfy lounge/diner with great views over Loch Fyne towards Otter Ferry & the Cowal peninsula. TV (Freeview), Bluetooth speaker and WiFi. Within easy travelling distance of both Lochgilphead and Tarbert, the 'Wee Snug' is an excellent base for exploring Argyll and the Isles. The space There's a porch for outdoor clothes/boots; both bedrooms have plenty of storage/hanging space. Comfy lounge/diner and compact but well-equipped self-catering kitchen (each with fantastic veiws)...so 'a home from home'. All bedding and towels are supplied. Guests are responsible for their electricity usage, though this should be minimal due to eco bulbs, and heaters on timers (which can be over-ridden to suit). Electric meter will be read at the start & end of your stay, or on a weekly basis if your stay is more than one week. The rate is 40p per unit used until further notice, updated along with any amendment of the electricity provider. Guest access You also have full access to the Main Hostel to meet and socialise with other guests in the 'common room' areas. Ideal for extra accommodation when booked along with any 'Sole Use' bookings, to enable you to join in with the rest of your group. During your stay Owner/Warden lives on-site and available 09:00-10:30, 16:00-18:00 & 22:00-21:00hrs...but outwith these hours, or in emergencies, can be contacted by phone if not actually on the premises. Other things to note Due to being on the 1st floor (with outside stairs), this may not be suitable for very young children, the elderly or infirm, or anyone that requires mobility access...in these circumstances we do have appropriate accommodation on the ground floor...please just ask.
