The space • A bit of history: In 1863, our family acquired "Mas Monnar", the original house located on the estate. The property was primarily devoted to agricultural activity, particularly the cultivation of grapes and wine production. In its cellars, wines were bottled under the brand "Alella can Rovira" and their red wine won the gold medal at the Universal Exposition in Barcelona in 1888. The property has remained in the family ever since. • The house: The house boasts a grand entrance and staircase leading to the first floor, where you'll find a spacious living room (with pictures of our ancestors), a library that opens out onto the garden, a large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen, three comfortable bedrooms, and a bathroom. Moving up to the second floor, you'll discover four well-appointed bedrooms, some with sea views, a large living and dining room area and a bathroom. All of our rooms feature carefully designed interiors that aim to preserve the historical value and character of the house. • The garden and pool: The property spans 7.4 acres (30000m2) with diverse trees—pines, lemons, oranges, and palms in the garden. A short walk to the forest offers breathtaking sea and village views. The backyard features a spacious terrace equipped with a BBQ, outdoor dining, and a ping pong table, ideal for relaxed get-togethers. Into the garden, the swimming pool awaits with comfortable loungers and sunshades, and pool towels are provided for guests' convenience. Guest access Our guests will have full access to the entire house. Additionally, the terraces, the swimming pool, private outdoor toilet, and surrounding garden are exclusively available for their use. Other things to note 1. Our gardener resides in a separate apartment within the house. He cares for the garden and pool and is available for any assistance or inquiries during your stay, respecting your peace and comfort. 2. The neighboring house is occupied throughout the year. 3. The house has hot water. 4. The house neither has heating nor air conditioning. In summer, it stays cool due to its high ceilings and thick walls. Each room is equipped with a fan.
