My home is clean and comfortable with a beautiful back garden. It's all on 1 floor so ideal for people with mobility issues. It’s private and secure, located in a quiet cul-de-sac with free parking. Great for families with young children. Dogs are allowed* The space My bungalow is detached and is ideal for couples or a large family (spanning generations) or 2 small families with children - a young child can feel reassured knowing that they can sleep in the same bedroom as their parent(s). * At no extra cost, dogs are permitted (depending on the breed) but should be mentioned in the initial message when an inquiry / request is made to stay at my bungalow. Any dogs that stay should be fully house-trained, should not shed hair or keep my neighbours awake at night by barking and should not be left unattended at the bungalow - guests must take their dogs with them if they go out at any time during their stay. The back garden is fully enclosed so a dog shouldn’t be able to escape. I have a large double door dog crate / cage which can be left in the bungalow for you during your stay on request. It measures 104 cm / 41 in (L) by 71 cm / 28 in (W) by 76 cm / 30 in (H). Requests for large groups to stay at my home will not be granted if they consist of only men or only women. I can only accept bookings for up to a maximum of 6 guests so please don’t request for more people to stay when making a booking. Bookings for 6 guests will be permitted but on the assumption that at least one of the double beds will need to be shared. I have the complete Virgin Media TV package which contains all Sky Sports and Sky Cinema channels. This is on both the V6 and TiVo boxes which are located in the lounge and the largest bedroom respectively. Please be mindful that my bungalow is my only home (although I will obviously be staying elsewhere during your stay) - I’m not wealthy enough to own any other properties unfortunately! You won’t see any family photos up on the walls inside the bungalow because it is designed to give the impression that it’s a holiday letting - that way, guests can feel like it’s their own home throughout their stay. The 2 fold-up single beds can also be stored in Bedroom 3 during the day to allow the main living space to go back to normal. The fold-away beds are the same length as the main single bed but are slightly narrower. Guest access My bungalow is all on one floor which is beneficial to guests who find it difficult getting up stairs / with mobility issues. There is access to the back garden + garden furniture (i.e. 4 chairs and a table + 2 reclining chairs) can be left out if requested. The only spaces you will not have access to will be a wardrobe (in Bedroom 1), the loft, the garage and the bathroom cupboard (but there will be space for you to store your toiletries in the bathroom cabinet). Also, the top compartment of the freezer should be free for you to use during your stay but food found in the 3 freezer drawers are for my personal use only and should not be accessed by guests. There will always be at least a couple of pints of (semi-skimmed) milk + butter / margarine in the fridge for you to consume during your stay. There is a good selection of (brand name) cereals + (Tetley) tea, (Nescafe) coffee and sugar + sweeteners in the kitchen cupboard which you are welcome to consume during your stay. Honey and strawberry jam + a variety of condiments (e.g. balsamic vinegar, Coleman's Mustard, Hellman's Mayonnaise, Heinz Salad Cream and Tomato Kethcup) will also be available. Other things to note Washing liquid / powder and softener are not supplied for the washing machine / dryer. The washing machine / dryer will be switched off at the mains during the stay because it's easy to accidentally switch it on by mistake (as it's touch sensitive).
