The space We have battery back up for security (alarm and cctv cameras monitored off site) gates, WiFi, the television and now we also have LIGHTS during normal load shedding ! The property is a large 4/5 bedroomed house with 3 bathrooms plus guest toilet downstairs. There is an open plan work area downstairs with a large desk and chair, a diningroom area with a 10 seater table, a large kitchen and scullery opening into a spacious lounge. There is also an outside laundry with a wash machine and tumble drier. Washing powder is not included. Tumble drier usage is limited, especially on hot days. The property has a large pool(safety net if required) with outdoor furniture, umbrellas and a braai, as well as a lovely garden with gorgeous views of the mountain...plenty of room for children or adults to play. There is plenty of secure parking behind electric gates. There is fibre wifi. There is a 43" smart TV / NO DSTV - so you can connect up to your Netflix, You Tube etc. The security is excellent including alarm, beams around the house, armed response as well as electric fence and cctv cameras which are monitored off site by Verifier. The house is well clean, uncluttered, equipped and furnished. Welcome pack on arrival including milk, tea, coffee, sugar, juice and biscuits. Small selection of basic condiments such as salt, pepper, oil and balsamic etc... Basic cleaning goods for the house included for short lets - on arrival there will be 2 rolls of toilet paper per toilet, hand soap and shower gel. Constantia Upper is an upmarket area and this homestead borders the beautiful Kirstenbosch Gardens, being at the foot of one of the seven wonders of nature, Table Mountain. Perfect for a wonderful holiday with family and friends, with plenty of space to entertain and relax, whilst kids play. It is a particularly private property as well and includes the services of a full time live in gentleman who oversees the whole property. Staff for cleaning/ laundry may be available by arrangement. We have one camp cot (no bedding) a baby bath and one high chair available. There is also a small adjoining cottage with small private garden, which has a long term tenant and 2 dogs which are fully fenced in. No garage available. Plenty of parking, some under trees, which is shared. Guest access The whole house, back garden and pool is available to guests but we reserve the right to close off some of the bedrooms with smaller bookings. There is a generous front entrance lawn off the parking / entrance area, which is shared space. There is a small private adjoining cottage which has a quiet long term tenant. Other things to note Please note we are not a party house and do not allow parties, gatherings or functions. We only accept guests who have adequate published air bnb reviews.
