Carsaig Cave, along with Alexandra Lifeboat, Mary Heather Lifeboat, Cuan Bunkroom and small campground are part of the facilities we provide here on Argyll's rugged coastline. The space Cuan cave gives you the unique opportunity to stay in a cave, formed into the shoreline on the edge of clan sound, with all facilities to hand. Formed into the curved shapes are a double berth sleeping area and a double bunk that can be changed to a settee with table in the entrance/ activity area, all with views down the bay to the sea, or the stars at night through the roof lights. We do not provide any linen, and due to the current circumstances, we encourage guests to provide their own. However, if requested we can provide a pillow, sleeping bag with liner and a towel for £7/person for 2 nights. The galley kitchen has breakfast bar with stools, plenty storage space with cooking and eating utensils. There is a fridge, double hob, microwave, kettle, toaster and George Foreman grill, (or equivalent ). Set in the back of the cave, accessed through a sliding door is a quadrant corner shower, wash basin and W.C with the luxury of underfloor heating. There is also an outdoor seating area with fire pit and wood available. There is access to the rugged Argyllshire coastline with stunning views and opportunities for exploration. As a designated marine area of scientific interest, there is an abundance of wildlife and nature to be enjoyed, from seals and dolphins to otters and sea eagles! Other things to note We do not provide linen. Due to the current circumstances we encourage you to provide your own. However, if requested we can provide a sleeping bag with liner, pillow and a towel for £7/person for two nights. You will no doubt get to meet our collie Cuan. Whilst we readily accept pets we have now had a number of guests that have abused the situation and facilities, therefore we hope you can understand why we now ask for a small contribution towards the additional cleaning, £5 for a night. Considering that Cuan Cave is part of a small campground, if your journey dictates that you will be arriving late please be considerate of other guests.
