Jacks Valley Farm offers the perfect opportunity to have a magical nature experience, wake up in our cozy, incredibly sunny cabin to the beautiful chorus of the native birds. Situated on the doorstep of the Kahurangi National Park there is loads to explore from this rustically charming glamping experience. Ensuring a pure experience, their is no electricity, cooking is with gas (pots & pans etc. provided), the shower is open air (with hot water) and the toilet is composting (see photos). The space The cabin is situated on a small farm bordering the Kahurangi National Park. One of the few undeveloped areas of New Zealand. The farm has chickens, sheep, horses, breeding cows and an alpaca. Visitors are welcome to explore the farm, which is predominantly regenerating native forest. One of the onsite attractions is glow worms. Guest access Guests have their own outdoor area and are able to come up to the main house to access internet. Other things to note If you would like to bring along a baby/toddler we have a portacot available and an extra single mattress is available for a child, or you are free to bring along a tent for your children.
