Former mill with annex on the edge of the Park

The accommodation consists of two units, separated by a garden reserved for guests. That is, an apartment and an annex. It can accommodate 8 people (adults and children) but is ideal for 4-6 people in case it is adults without children. The house is surrounded by greenery and overlooks the Rio Gentile, which marks the border between the property and the Monte di Portofino Park, which is therefore accessible directly from home. (Liguria Region: code 010007-LT-0284) The space On the edge of the Portofino Natural Park, a 5-minute walk from the carriage road (200 meters) and 10 minutes from the Camogli promenade, the accommodation is located on the lower floor of a detached house, surrounded by greenery and overlooking a stream. The house is a former mill, completely restored in 2002 and the accommodation has three sides (east, south, west) and two entrances (one for access and the other overlooking a terrace and the garden that separates it from the annex). The accommodation consists of a bedroom with three beds (a bunk bed and a double bed) from which you can access a dressing room/closet and from there to the bathroom; the other room, the largest, is the living room with a kitchenette, in which the sofa bed is located (also a double bed). The annex consists of a large room with a bathroom and shower. The services (cellar and laundry) are in a separate room, in the mezzanine, and are shared with the accommodation above. What makes this house unique is the possibility of experiencing Camogli, its promenade, alleys, shops and beach, without sacrificing relaxation and tranquility, enjoying a private garden and the lulling sound of the river on which the house overlooks. Guest access Check-in Saturday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Check-out is by 11 a.m. To access the property (apartment and annex), you have to go down the staircase adjacent to the house (on the left before the porch) that leads to the private terrace facing east. Then there is an additional terrace (facing west) and a private garden that connects the apartment and the annex. Beach towels are not provided, and it is recommended not to use the towels from the house on the beach or to clean sunscreen. Other things to note 1. The house can only be reached on foot, and is about 200 meters from the driveway. On summer weekends, there may be serious parking problems, because the area is in high demand and parking spaces are relatively few. For those who can, we recommend arriving by plane or train. For those arriving by car, having found a parking space, we recommend not moving the car for the entire period and getting around by public transport (train, bus, boat, bike sharing) and of course on foot. 2. The Liguria region requires that guests' IDs be photographed upon arrival for the regional register of residents. Adult guests must also pay an accommodation tax (€2.50 per day for guests over 15 years of age only), which will be collected in cash upon arrival. 3. Linens (sheets and towels) are free for two guests in a double bed. For additional guests (or beds), the cost is €10 per person, to be paid upon arrival with the tourist tax.
