Artists' one-bedroom in Montmartre
Description
My apartment is a five-minute walk from the Sacré Coeur, right between Montmartre and the more bohemian environs across the rue de Clignancourt. One bedroom, one bathroom, one kitchen/library. It is quiet, calm, and peaceful. Ideal for a couple. The space The apartment is small but cozy with two rooms, a bedroom and a kitchen with a table and chairs. There is a bathtub but no shower. Or rather, there is no shower curtain. So you can either take your shower sitting down as I do or just take a bath. The wooden bathtub is little for the simple reason that the door to the bathroom is narrow and I couldn't fit a bigger tub in. If you are a bigger person, say above 190cm or 100kg, you might not fit. The water pressure is on the weak side. Queen-size bed. Fully-equipped kitchen. I'm renting the place out while I travel; it is my home. The apartment rating currently sits at around 4.7, with some of the non-five star ratings coming from guests who cite a musty smell that seems to come and go. As far as I can tell, this is simply an "old apartment" odor that cannot be exorcised (the building dates from 1860), but if you are particularly sensitive to odors, perhaps you will notice it (I don't and neither do most guests). The apartment has relatively high ceilings for Paris (3m) and is located on the courtyard side of the building, so there is no street noise. The 165-year-old wooden floor is original. Guest access The entire apartment. Registration Details 7511804880471
