This A-Frame on Kipp is an upstate dream with an open main floor plan and expansive outdoor space. The home features dramatic ceiling heights, windows opening to stunning area views, a long farm dining table, open kitchen and wood-burning fireplace. There is an office space on the main floor as well as a sauna in the basement. Near to Rhinebeck, Kingston, Red Hook, Germantown and Woodstock. The space The space KITCHEN: The updated kitchen includes stainless steel appliances, a peninsula with seating, dishwasher, electric stove, and microwave. The kitchen is open to the dining and living spaces for easy flow. INDOOR LIVING SPACE: The living room includes a Smart TV streaming services available to be used with your personal credentials) and wood fireplace. The space creates the perfect setting for a cozy movie night or just relaxation with a crackling fire. An office space off of the living room includes a full desk space along with built-in custom bookcases. (Note: there are no doors to the office space.) The main floor includes two cozy bedrooms with queen sized beds and a guest bathroom with shower and washer/dryer unit. There is a third upstairs bedroom and bathroom with Jacuzzi-style jetted bath tub and shower. The unfinished basement includes a 4-person sauna that is available for guest enjoyment. Linens and towels are provided for your stay. We typically stock each property with complimentary Public Goods soaps, as well as pantry items and paper goods. OUTDOOR LIVING SPACE There is an expansive deck with a propane grill available for use. There is a sunny screened-in porch (also referred to as a three-seasons room) that is usable during the warmer months. The home is on a 2-acre lot and there is an outdoor fire pit and a picnic table available near the house for outdoor dining. One thing to note: Our home is in the middle of the woods — and as such very occasionally (once every other month?) the power might go out for a few minutes during a storm, or there may be a few bugs that make their way inside. We have routine lawn and pest care (Orkin). Lawn care is generally weekly, or bi-weekly. Pest care is once monthly. Depending on the length of your stay or your dates our service workers may need to come on the property. Your privacy is our priority, and therefore we will always confirm with you ahead of time if someone will need to enter the home. Our house manager lives next door, so if you have any issues you'll have his number. We'd love to have you, but if you're overly sensitive to nature — this might not be the right house for you. A gentle reminder of our house rules: * No pets (no cats, no dogs, etc. — sorry we are allergic, so it's just not possible) * No smoking on the premises * No shoes inside the home * No candles, burning sage, and/or incense Guest access Make yourselves at home!
