Self contained family house with breathtaking views in midst of working farm. Guests can visit our sheep and cattle, pigs, chickens, ducks, turkeys and geese. The original cottage has been completely refurbished and is ideal for a family or group of friends. There are 4 bedrooms, 1 king size, 1 double, 1 twin room (beds can be zipped together for super king sized bed) and 1 single with open plan kitchen/diner/living room, plus utility room and sitting room. Private entrance and parking The space The entire house is available within a farm and house complex. The original main house dates back to 1813 and we have restored the various related buildings over the last 10 years. 27 Yealand Road, a Victorian cottage, is our most recent renovation project. Enter into a bright open plan kitchen/diner and lounge. A small sitting room with log burning stove offers additional living space. On the ground floor there is also a shower and w/c plus utility room and a single bedroom. Upstairs there are kingsize, double and twin bedrooms. Plus family bathroom with shower and bath tub. Outside is an open garden area with a table and benches Our reviews have always commented on the sparkling cleanliness of all our properties but we have introduced additional antibacterial cleaning of surfaces between stays. Guest access This a whole property rental. Separate entrance and private parking. Other things to note This is a working farm. There is an unfenced pond nearby. Children need to be under parental supervision to prevent accidents.
