Chalet in Châtel

Centrally situated in the pretty Savoyard village of Chatel, in the Portes du Soleil ski area, chalet Les Erines sleeps a maximum of 9 guests in 4 en-suite bedrooms. Communal areas include: kitchen, lounge, spacious separate dining room, large balcony, garden & decking. The chalet offers the best of both worlds: boasting outstanding views in a quiet location, yet just a step away from the resort's colourful bars, shops and restaurants. Relaxing, comfortable & spacious accommodation. No pets! The space With alpine activities all year round, the chalet is close to the centre of the village but quiet and relaxing as it is away from any roads. The living areas are generously spacious and the sense of the chalet is traditional using wood paneling and stone floors. The balcony is south-west facing and is spacious with areas to sit and admire the stunning views. Around to the garden which is south-east facing there is a decking area and two picnic tables. This area captures the sun in the morning but gives you relief from the heat in the evening as tree offers shade. The two bedrooms on the top floor have traditional chalet sloping ceilings, whereas the two bedrooms on the ground floor are normal headroom. There is one main door which opens into the hall and is idea for storing your shoes and coats and a ski rack that can take 8 pairs of skis. Guest access The chalet accommodation is ideal for family groups who want to relax in each other's company with a separate lounge and dining room, or when the sun is shining then spill out onto the balcony, decking or the lawned garden area. The chalet is some distance from the road making it a calm and peaceful place to rest. Parking is available for two cars, making use of my garage and the space in front of it. The garage is by the road opposite the Furniture gift shop called Magasin de Théo. During the holiday seasons the village has a free shuttle service that gives access to the mountain at Pre la Joux and the Linga. Other things to note The bedrooms can be made up as either twin or double rooms. Each person will be provided with their own duvet. All bedding and towels are provided by your host at no additional cost. Beds will be made-up ready for your arrival. Although your hosts love animals, the chalet is a 'pet-free' zone to protect those who may have allergies. We recommend you bring indoor shoes/slippers as outdoor shoes/boots are not allowed inside the chalet. The chalet is close to the centre of the village. It is situated between two roads and accessed by a flight of outside steps. Access to the chalet is therefore not suitable for those with limited physical ability. The chalet is no smoking.
