Central apartment Paris + rooftop terrasse!

In the heart of Paris, a large, quiet apartment for 2; a rooftop terrace with a great view , a winter garden perfect for reading, a well equipped kitchen if you like to cook. Located in a 18th century building, the apartment kept some of its original features (wooden beams, terra cotta tiles). It is decorated with care and taste, furniture and objets brought back from our travels. The spirit is 'parisian traveller'. Not far from 'rue Montorgueil' a street market where you can buy fresh food The space I've been renting my place when I am away since 2006. What the guests like about it? It is very central and quiet. The roof terasse is nice and rare to find in Paris at such a price. They like the decoration, they feel at home and comfortable... If you love cooking or watching tv, nature and travels, the place is well equipped for that (tv, WIFI, cable...). Notre-dame cathedral and the Louvre museum are only 10 min walk, the metro station Reaumur-sebastopol (line 3 and 4) is 120 yards away. If you prefer to cycle, there is a 'vélib' rental station right at the foot of the building. The area is convienient for groceries or to enjoy a typical french meal in a restaurant (the nice open air street market 'rue montorgeuil' is 2 blocks away). Equipment: 1 bedroom with a double bed, living room with a sofa.4th floor (no elevator). 60 m2. Winter garden. Washing/drying machine, fridge/freezer, hair-dryer, iron and ironboard...fully equipped and furnished, bed linen and towels... During summer we provide a portable air-conditioning machine in the living room only. It really helps to cool down the room. Note that there is a second bedroom which is for our little girl. You will have access to it to store some of your belongings if you wish. We kindly ask you to respect it as it is a child’s room :-) There also some plants that need to be watered once a week in winter, twice a week in summer. They are well placed in cupboards and closets. I left enough room for your comfort everywhere in the appartment. So you will feel at home. Other things to note Note that there is a second bedroom that is our daughter’s room. You have access to it for storage purposes. You are required to water the plants indoor and outdoor twice a week during your stay :-) No parties but dinners with respectful friends are allowed.
