Relaxing in Kuratau

Kuratau is a small village, on the western bottom of Lake Taupo. This is a popular holiday spot with the lake, river, reserve, playground and walking tracks. Our house is set on 1 hectare with established grounds for you to relax and enjoy. It is a joint property and there is a 2 bedroom unit next door that may or may not be rented. This is our holiday house and has been set up with most amenities and appliances you would find at home. Its great for families. The space Our property is two adjoining houses with internal access that will be locked off. Only one part is offered for rent. The other part may or may not be occupied and we can never guarantee is it empty. It is not rented out, so it would be owners that are there and no different to having a townhouse/motel unit in terms of privacy. The section is 1 hectare, so there is plenty of space to spread out and relax. This is our family bach, but has most luxuries found at home. We do have some personal items there we ask you respect. We are on a water tank and septic tank system, as well as bottled gas for cooking/water. There are two bedrooms with a double and single bed, as well as a bunkroom with 2 sets of bunks and 2 further beds. The kitchen/dining/living is open plan and dining table seats 8 while the breakfast bar has 5 stools. There is also a large outdoor table with 10 chairs and three outdoor beanbags. The master bedroom has an ensuite, and there is a main bathroom with a bath that opens onto the pool deck. The pool is only maintained Dec-Feb. There is no spa available at the moment. There is also a playroom with a pool table. We have fenced an area of the section and on request we can accommodate your pet. Guest access The outdoor area is shared. This includes the pool area, tennis court and laundry. We can tell you ahead of time whether anyone else will be staying there but cannot guarantee this will be empty. There is a collection of books and games to use, and the kitchen will be stocked with many basics you might need. There is also an assortment of balls and outdoor equipment. The local playground / reserve / tennis court is very close and there is a cafe at the end of the road. The closest diary is 2.5km away and the lake about 500m Other things to note We ask you respect this property and treat it like your home. We do not allow parties / large gatherings / camping. We ask you have no more people stay than you book for and do not host guests.
