Island Nature Observatory - Hot Tub Dogs welcome

Beautiful very private self-catering cabin gently nestled into the historic family-run Dry Island. "Otter Cabin" is fitted out to a high standard with a double bedroom, shower room, open plan kitchen, dining/living room and its own hot tub and decking area. with uninterrupted breath taking sea and mountain views. . Kitchen basics and linens are provided. Wifi and smart tv is available. Dedicated workspace available. Unfortunately, the cabin is inaccessible to those with mobility difficulties. The space The cabin is completely fitted out with a double bedroom, shower room, open plan kitchen and living room. The decking area is just 5 metres from the water's edge. Dining area has picnic bench and pots of herbs for you to use. A second decking area stretching out in front of the French windows has a bench for seal and otter spotting. This is traditional self-catering unit. Linens and towels are provided. Tea, coffee, cooking basics, washing up liquid and spare loo roll are provided. The cabin is always clean, comfortable and quiet with outstanding views across the loch. Guest access Dry Island offers three different properties, the otter cabin, a camping barrel and bothy, and the main house where we live with our family. You are free to roam about the wild paths on the island and we will let you know which areas are currently inhabited. Other things to note It's very important that guests acknowledge that the path leading from the carpark as well as the paths around the island are very rocky and slippery. Unfortunately, the island is inaccessible to those with mobility difficulties. High grip shoes are highly recommended. Paths are not lit after dark and torches are essential. The steps are steep up to the car park and require a good level of fitness.
