WOODSTOCK/BEARSVILLE Escape to a little healing magic in this 1909 built cottage. Originally owned by a medicine woman in the early 1900s. This home has charm(s) of an enchanted past and it has been renovated to provide a modern, cozy experience. -Wood burning fireplace -Projector w/screens inside & in screenhouse -Full kitchen -River and Mountain access -Propane grill -500 sq ft screen house (closed during winter months) Dog friendly but must be approved before booking. $25 per night fee The space Step through the front door that leads to a grand stone, wood burning fireplace. Build a fire with the backdrop of the forest and mountains. Upstairs you will find a loft style bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. Wake up early in the morning to our frequent wildlife visitors who come to drink from our tiny pond that can be viewed from the bedroom. There is a full kitchen with all cooking equipment that you will need for a meal, including BBQ utensils to use on our outdoor propane grill. Next to the grill is a 500 square foot screenhouse (open May-October) perfect for relaxing and doing yoga with the provided yoga mats. Use the hanging egg chair to gaze into the mountain or listen to the babbling brook. Guest Access: You will travel up our driveway to our elevated property. PLEASE USE CAUTION WHEN DRIVING UP OUR DRIVEWAY. If you are not an experienced driver, you will need to park at the bottom of our drive and walk up. It is steep. We recommend an SUV. You have full access to the house, yard and 500 sq foot screen house in May-October. Behind our property are mountains. Take an endless hike into the mountains. We suggest wearing tick repellant, boots and pants if you go for a hike on the mountain - it’s nature in the Catskills, so ticks exist. Sprayed monthly around the perimeter of our home is an organic and safe repellent that repels ticks and mosquitoes by local knowledgeable professionals to make enjoying the great outdoors more carefree. Other things to note Dog friendly for dogs under 30 lbs. Dogs approved upon request for a $25 a night additional fee. No cats please.
