This is an ideal space for a couple, a small family, or 2-3 single friends. Located in a quiet neighborhood near the Truckee River Regional Park. 8 minute walk to Truckee River & Legacy Trail. Near Northstar, Palisades Tahoe and Sugarbowl ski resorts, restaurants, shops, hiking trails, historic downtown Truckee, and golf. The space This apartment is located 1.5 miles (4 Minutes) East of Historic Downtown Truckee, 10 minutes to Donner Lake, 20 minutes to Lake Tahoe, and a 45 minute drive to/from Reno International Airport. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you should need, including a full refrigerator, sink with an instant hot water tap, a 2-burner cooktop, microwave/convection oven, coffee drip cone & filters, and toaster along with a full basic set of dishes, cups, wine glasses, utensils etc. Complimentary coffee and a variety of tea is provided. There is an alcove with custom built-in benches and a table to be used for dining or working. There is no TV, but there is high-speed wifi to allow you to stream entertainment on your own devices. The proximity to the Truckee River, Legacy Trail, and historic downtown make this an incredible location for summer and winter recreation, as well as enjoying good food and shopping. Guest access The apartment is attached to but completely separate from our home. The apartment has a private entrance with a lockbox and ONE dedicated parking space. Note: between Nov 1 and April 15, Truckee does not allow cars to be parked on the street (for plows). So, there is parking available for ONLY ONE VEHICLE during the winter months. Other things to note There is an exterior stairway you must walk up to the entrance of the apartment. The entry way vestibule of the apartment has space to store your skis for safe keeping. The bedroom has two built-in twin beds. These beds cannot be moved together. Perfect spot to put kids to bed early. The sofa (IKEA) turns into a comfortable double bed. There is a foam mattress pad that fits the sofa bed. The bathroom has a water- and space-saving toilet with an integrated sink. Due to recent changes regarding STRs in Truckee, our space is not available to rent for less than 30 days.
