If you like the quiet but also a variety of wildlife then this is it. You have your own entry. THE PRICE $140 IS FOR TWO GUESTS, BEDROOM, BATHROOM AND SITTING ROOM- a light breakfast of Tea/ Coffee and Toast/ and Juice. A second bedroom with double bed is available for family / friends. The space The property is situated approximately 1.8 kms from the town centre. The house is situated on 1 acre of lovely garden including a fish pond and out door seating for relaxing. The house was built in 2011 and has a covered verandah all around. The bedroom has a Queen size bed dressed with an Electric Blanket, Doona and home made Patchwork Quilt. The decor of the Bathroom and toilet is burgundy and white. Clean towels and some toiletries are provided for your use. The small PRIVATE SITTING ROOM has a two seat settee, TV , tea/coffee making facilities, small fridge and books for your reading pleasure, Continental breakfast is included and will be PROVIDED in the sitting room. There is abundant undercover outside seating and use of BBQ if desired for long stays.Additional crockery, cutlery and condiments are available on request. Nearby are supermarkets and dine in or take away food restaurants. The accommodation is suitable for a couple, however another room is available with a double bed if needed, at an additional cost,. Guest access You have a nice light and airy Bedroom with a queen size bed, PLUS a separate lounge/sitting room and your own bathroom and toilet.The areas that would be shared are the laundry facilities, outside spaces, such as garden and verandah of the house. Guest entry for your own privacy would be through the side door adjacent to the car parking space. Guests are asked not to smoke within the boundaries of the house area. During your stay While we live on the property, interaction is what ever you want, privacy is fine or sharing a drink / BBQ on the verandah if you wish &/or perhaps a talk together for more information about the area.The choice is yours.. Other things to note Close by attractions are - PUFFING BILLY RAIL, Shopping areas of EMERALD, BELGRAVE. OLINDA, SASSAFRAS AND Mt Dandenong which abound with interesting shops cafe's and restaurants. Closest Service stations for fuel are at Emerald, Tecoma and Silvan. There are interesting walks through Sherbrooke Forest and National Parks. The Dandenong Ranges abound with many fine eateries. Between the end of September and mid October sees the Tulip Festival in full swing on the Silvan-Monbulk Rd approx. 3 kms from Monbulk. In Monbulk there are some nice boutiques, a variety of eating places including and coffee shops, Pizza, Fish and Chips, a nice Thai restaurant, a well rated Chinese Restaurant, and the Watering Hole ( a restaurant/ tavern style establishment) with live music on Friday nights and some other times.
