If you're looking for a relaxing getaway you've found it! We love this cottage because it sits right on top of the hill leading down to the lake-there is nothing like an early morning stroll, coffee in hand, down to the beach. The bedrooms have old-fashioned windows that hook to the ceiling when they are open--letting in the sound of the waves hitting the beach (one of which is just down the hill from your front door). You are 20 minutes from Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island, rent kayaks and tour the sea caves, or watch the sunset while on an Apostle Islands boat tour. You have found the launching point for the vacation you will never forget! Eat in kitchen. Living room with Direct TV. Plenty of parking for boats or ATV's. Very close to the best little tourist town of Bayfield and the Apostle Islands. Perfect place to vacation. Fun for the whole family. The space This two bedroom cottage that sleeps 4 has a spacious entry way and eat in kitchen area. The living room is comfortable and sits right off of an adjoining bedroom. Plenty of room out front to park your boat, ATV or snowmobile. Guest access You can wander around our property at your leisure. Trails for morning walks, benches at the beach for relaxing while the kids take a night time swim. Other things to note Welcome to our cozy, rustic cottage! Built with character and history, this cabin offers a true retreat into nature with its classic charm. While it may show signs of its age, such as original cupboards and vintage fixtures, it’s a perfect place for those who appreciate a home with stories to tell. Expect an authentic, old-fashioned cabin experience—simple, comfortable, and full of charm. Please note that while the cabin may not have modern luxury features, it is clean, well-maintained, and equipped with all the essentials for a peaceful getaway. BEACHES: There are two beaches on the property. The larger one on that is right in front of your cottage accessible by a grassy hill that you need to walk down. The small one on the right side of the property you will need to take a staircase to get to. The water levels of the lake vary summer to summer, and even day to day. Sometimes there is a large sandy beach area, sometimes there is a small beach area.
