Our 'Riyad', the traditional home built around the patio (an inner courtyard), has been renovated according to Moroccan architecture and using local materials and craftsmanship: 'taddelakt' walls, zellige (small enameled pieces of mosaic), painted wood, 'bejmat'. All the rooms open out onto the 'patio' - the heart of the house - with its pond and exotic plants (banana, lemon and fig trees). The 'Douiria' is a small separate apartment, located at the first floor, with a view on the patio. It’s composed of a large living-room with open fire, a bedroom (double bed or twins) and a private bathroom with WC, which offers great privacy (possibility of 3 extra beds in the living-room). You will also enjoy the calm and sunny terrace, another living area, overlooking the rooves of the medina, some minarets and, in the background, the peaks of the Atlas Mountains.
