Making touring in Acadia easy with trails, sites, and Bar Harbor within easy access. Walk right from the cottage to access the carriage roads and the Giant Slide Trail which leads up Sargeant Mountain. The space We are a centrally located cottage in the town of Mount Desert, which borders Acadia National Park. You may hike from the front door of the cottage to access the 45 miles of carriage roads which traverse the island. No automobile traffic is allowed on the carriage roads so they are perfect for biking and hiking. No pets allowed.
