Third floor, no elevator. Within walking distance to all main city attractions. The space The apartment has an open layout with one bedroom. There is a small balcony overlooking Plaza del Carmen and the Castle of Santa Barbara. Neat and tidy, with a fully equipped kitchen including small fridge, washing machine, microwave, and everything else you would need to make your stay comfortable. The apartment is ideal for couples. Located on the third floor, with no elevator. The shared rooftop terrace, which offers spectacular views of the Santa Barbara Castle and Barrio de Santa Cruz, is located on the 4th floor. Access to and from the airport is available with bus C6, with two pick-up/drop-off locations within 8 minute walk to the property (Plaza Puerta del Mar or Avenida Alfonso El Sabio, 12). The Central Train Station (Renfe) is located within 18 minutes of the property by foot. The city of Alicante is also well-connected with many other parts of the Costa Blanca by buses, trains, and trams. Other things to note Please note that the sofa is not intended for sleeping and may not be used as an additional bed. Celebrations, Festivals, and Holidays Carnaval (Carnival) When: February (week before Lent) What: Parades, costumes, live music, and street parties Warning: Loud music well into the early hours of the morning (4am). Semana Santa (Holy Week) When: March or April (dates vary yearly) What: Religious processions throughout the city with traditional floats (pasos) and music. Hogueras de San Juan (Bonfires of Saint John) When: June 20–24 What: Alicante’s biggest festival. Huge paper monuments are built and burned in celebration of the summer solstice. Warning: Loud music well into the early hours of the morning (4am). Nochebuena & Navidad (Christmas Eve & Christmas Day) When: December 24–25 What: Family meals and midnight Mass. Nochevieja en Alicante (New Year's Eve) is a joyful, lively celebration full of parties, music, and traditions—both local and Spanish-wide.
