Full kitchen facilities, outside sitting areas with outdoor furniture The space This 'over the top' 110 year old cottage is our Cape Town escape when we need a break from our hotel business in Tulbagh, Cape Winelands. The house can sleep up to five in its two large bedrooms. There is also a comfortable lounge, full kitchen, full bathroom with glorious sash windows, wooden floors, high ceilings and stunning Victorian detailing and finishes. There is a wonderful cool and green courtyards under a frangepani tree that flowers throughout the summer. The chill out covered veranda and BBQ room is always hit and is a blessed escape from the bustle of the city only minutes away. My husband and I are art and antique collectors and our Woodstock cottage is filled with some of our most beautiful things, many acquired from our travels around the world. Guest access If we can not personally meet you in Woodstock, we will leave the keys in the keysafe at the front door. We have un caped high speed fiber option WIFi throughout the house and a very large smart TV. 3 We now have uninterupted internet & emergency lights as well. The kitchen cupboards are stocked with the basic essentials as well as complicated luxuries required to whip up a snack or sophisticated meals. Guests are welcome to use any foods in the house (within reason). Please do try to replace some of what you use, so that the fairness balance in maintained. We have extensive book, CD and DVD collections which guests are welcome to enjoy. Please make sure that your AIRBNB profile is completed before you arrive as we will not hand the keys to our house to guests with out a profile and photo! Included in your stay is our cleaner who comes once a week to make over the house and can do your laundry as well if you stay longer than a week. She is available more often on request, if required. We are flexible on dates, although strict on 'last minute' cancellations, so should your plans change, we will gladly allow you to move your dates as long as there is availability. No Air-con (electric fan only) or Cloths drier (CT climate & retractable washing line only) Free Limited WI-FI SECURITY We have thick old fashioned burglar bars in all windows and a very heavy front security gate. In my 15 years here, I have never had a burglary, touch wood. When visiting South Africa, always be aware of your surroundings and the people in your vicinity. PARKING All parking is in the street, no there is no off street parking. We have very few problems with parked car outside so long as nothing is ever left in view in the car. We are 4km from the city and 6km from the Waterfront.
