Cozy room for 1 person (or 2) in the historical city center of Mechelen. Living room, kitchen, bathroom and terrace is shared. Walking distance to monuments, museums, bars, restaurants and shops. 8min walk to the train station. 20min by train to Brussels and Antwerp (10min train ride to Brussels airport!). I am a traveller myself and very happy to help my guests finding their way around! I speak Dutch, English and Spanish fluently and French but a little less fluently :-) Mi casa su casa! The space The location of my flat is very central (city center) and also very quiet and peaceful. It's on the second floor (no elevator) and you can park in the streets nearby or in a parking at 10’ walking distance (paid). The train station is a 10min walk, it takes 20min by train to Brussels and Antwerp. Also good connections with Leuven, Gent, Brugge,...The train to the airport only takes 10min. Also walking distance to monuments, museums, bars, restaurants and shops; Mechelen is a small city so you can pretty much walk everything! The surroundings of Mechelen are very nice to walk and cycle with a lot of green areas, parks and rivers. Lots of (free!) festivals and events in the summer and summer bars at walking distance where you can have a drink and relax. Also events during winter, there is always something to do nearby so you won't get bored! Guest access You will have your own room: one single bed (and extra bed with matrass under it), a desk and closet for your clothes. Wifi available. You can use the kitchen (incl fridge, freezer, microwave and all kitchen utensils), bathroom (towels and soap available), living room (tv with netflix!) and terrace (access through my room so not available 24/7). The bed will be made when you arrive and there are fresh sheets available. You can use the kitchen but leave it how you found it, same with bathroom please! During your stay I respect your space and I'm very happy to help. I won’t be home all the time but when I'm there and I can help or you want to chat, be my guest!
