Up north of the Mediterranean coast, on a rocky hill covered with local flora, a quiet and peaceful atmosphere unfolds. Driving up forested hills, as they open into a panoramic view of the Western Galilee and Haifa Bay, the winding road leads to the small kibbutz of Adamit. At the highest point of this intimate settlement stands the home of two artists, Asia and Yuri, and their large family. The space The house was designed and built with a unique approach to architecture and interior design, with the belief that everything can be combined: beauty and functionality, old and new, past and present. Maybe the best term to describe the essence of the house is “Eclectic”, a greek word meaning “A collection of different things”, as it combining elements and styles from different time periods and different origins. For most of the items in the house - this is the second incarnation of life; The couple recreated and renovated creatively recycled raw materials, old windows, doors, furniture and accessories collected throughout the country and construction waste sites, creating a space with a special harmony and a special story. The open space which blends kitchen, living and dining space is completely open to the breathtaking view of the green hills of lebanon, blending the inside with the outside, modern and old, eastern and western, industrial and bohemian. This is the home to a beautiful art collection; modern Israeli art, Yuri’s and Asia’s own works, and paintings and sculptures made by the young family members, all placed throughout the house. The space holds creativity in every detail and corner, allowing each object to do it’s own unique story-telling. Guest access There are six bedrooms in the house: The house has a large backyard - An ideal place for children's games ( hammock, children's toys) & fireplace with a view. Other things to note * Private swimming pool in the fenced backyard. Entry only accompanied by an adult. * A fish pond in the yard is fenced. * There are no stores in Adamit. * A general breakfast can be ordered at an additional fee. If you are interested, please book a few days in advance * A kibbutz swimming pool, located in the kibbutz, a few minutes walk from the house, is open in July, August, and September.
