Billy & I offer you a warm welcome to our home,Lilac Cottage,a renovated cottage overlooking the Menai Straits.The location is fabulous & we are on the doorstep for Beaumaris,Menai Bridge & the Snowdonia mountain range.If you wish to book 2 bedrooms, please see our separate listing here for 2 bedrooms (4 people). And if by chance you are looking for accommodation whilst attending a function at Chateau Rhianfa, we are right across the road from this stunning place.LGBT friendly too The space Our "upside down" Cottage is laid out with the lounge, guest bedroom with a king size bed and bathroom on the first floor to take advantage of the breathtaking views. The kitchen and our living area is on the ground floor, allowing our guests to relax and enjoy the break upstairs without too much intrusion. The guest bedroom is airy and offers more of the view over the Menai Straits. The bathroom, of which you will have exclusive use, boasts a heated floor, a deep bath and relaxing shower. Second bedroom available if required for friends or family. Please let me know your requirements. Continental breakfast is offered and will be served in the lounge, in front of our floor to ceiling glass doors or on the balcony in fine weather. We are ideally situated for exploring the North Wales coastline including Anglesey. Guest access Guests have their own bedroom and bathroom with tea/coffee making facilities. Guests need to be aware there is a hill up to the house and then stairs to climb within the house. During your stay I will be here to welcome you on your arrival and will provide advice ahead of time regarding parking. I am happy to share my knowledge of the area and offer advice on places to visit and where to eat. In general, Billy and I will be downstairs, leaving you to enjoy the first floor alone. But we're happy to natter if you like! Other things to note We are a very short distance away from the Anglesey coastal path that takes you to numerous beautiful beaches on the island. South Stack nature reserve is a must for all bird lovers and Beaumaris offers laid back boat trips to visit the seals and puffins. Diving days at sea and rib rides to get away to the idyllic Llanddwyn island. The Zip wire is here too, its the fastest in the world and the longest in europe. And not to forget we are only 30 minutes away from Holyhead Port which takes you across the Irish sea to Dublin. Snowdonia National Park is a stones throw away, offering something for the more adventurous, including Snowdon the tallest mountain in Wales.
