I have always lived in Bologna. It's my house. Looking out from the balcony, you will know the city with my own eyes. Located in one of its most fascinating streets, the apartment has been totally renovated and set up in harmony with the environment. The warmth of the original exposed beams and typical Bolognese furniture, the modernity of the most sought after resins and materials combine tradition and innovation in one of Italy's most cosmopolitan and attractive cities. The space The 50sqm apartment is located on the second floor of a historic building in the center of Bologna. The road, although limited traffic, is only a 5-minute walk from both the Bologna Centrale train station and the Piazza XX Settembre bus station and a short walk from the underground parking of Piazza VIII Agosto. The house consists of a large entrance hall with a bookstore equipped with a small international selection of books and various guides from Bologna. The bright living room has a fully equipped kitchen, a relax area with a splendid turntable and a white stone balcony with a striking view of Via Augusto Righi. The double bedroom is spacious with a stone fireplace that makes it suggestive. The bathroom is modern and embellished with a large and comfortable shower. The ancient exposed beams throughout the house make a warm and welcoming environment with attention to detail (resin floor, green details and anti-noise fixtures) for a totally relaxing stay. Guest access The apartment is equipped with every comfort: WI-FI and USB sockets for battery recharging, 43-inch LED-TV in the room, air conditioning, adjustable heating, bench with coat rack, bed linen and towels, courtesy kit (shampoo, soap , disposable cuff and slippers). Other things to note Bologna has many monuments and attractions which will leave you satisfied once you return home. You can actually find accomodation in the city centre, walk through its streets: they are mostly occupied by locals living their daily day life and this people have interesting customs, such street life and having an appetizer in the evening. Taste some of Bologna's best products: Parmesan and Padano cheeses, Modena's oils and vinegars and the world's most famous pasta sauce. The building does not have parking but there are nearby parking lots and designated parking areas, easily reachable by foot (parallel streets behind Via Indipendenza). You will be able to find car rental places at the airport and near the train station. On weekends, Bologna has what are called "T Days" which are basically pedestrain-only zones in the core centre; this includes Via Indipendenza where we are located.
