We really enjoy sharing our Space with our guests through AirBnB. Your home away from home is a spacious tranquil Guest House that has a cool beach decor with full height wall paneling and walnut hardwood floors. The kitchenette / living room is open concept, with kitchen table & chairs, a queen sleeper pull-out sofa and large screen TV with Roku and access to Netflix. The kitchen has a refrigerator/freezer, two burner electric stove, microwave, x-large toaster oven, regular toaster, coffee maker and hopefully everything else you will need to prepare your meals. There is also a natural gas bbq located at the side yard. The bedroom has a very comfortable queen size bed, dresser, writing desk and a pair of French doors leading out to the nice little side yard area. The front of the guesthouse has a large covered wood deck with a bistro table and two chairs and two regular chairs with cushions with a side table for your outdoor dining & relaxing pleasure with a view of the resort like backyard, sparkling pool and main house. There is ample parking space on the street. During your stay you can enjoy the backyard's bocce ball court, fire pit and pool (seasonal). Sorry - No use of the Jacuzzi or the main house patio and bbq. There are security camera lights around the perimeter of the property, there are no cameras facing the pool area only a safety light to light up the way to the guest house. The premises are owner occupied and although we enjoy interacting with our guests, equal privacy is appreciated. We will try to be present during your stay to answer any questions you may have. It's your responsibility to clean and maintain the space during your stay. The freeway is less than 5 minutes away and Thousand Oaks is centrally located between Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Santa Barbara and only 30 minutes away from Malibu and other beaches. The Ronald Reagan Library and The Oaks mall are approx. 10 minutes away. Close to CAL Lutheran, La Reina, Oaks Christian and Pepperdine. There are hiking and biking trails nearby as well as beautiful parks that are just walking distance away. The Oakbrook Plaza shopping center is less than 1/2 mile away. There you will find grocery stores , banks, Starbucks, Coffee Bean and much more. We have many great restaurants and other quaint places to visit, such as The Stonehaus and Malibu winery. If you like movies we have state of the art Cinepolis Luxury Cinema and Muvico. Public golf and tennis courts are also close by. Public transportation is available but personal transportation is highly recommended for you to truly enjoy a southern California experience. There is ample parking space in front of the house. We are located within walking distance to 3 parks, 1 small hiking trail 2 grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops etc. There is a gravel walkway that leads from the main house to guest house. We have automatic security cameras and lighting at the perimeter of the property. No cameras are pointing to the pool and spa area, just a security light to light up the path to the guest house at night. Guest house comes with an alarm system false alarms may result in additional cost.
