La Maison de l'Escargot – Peony Room

Ideally located on the heights of the village of Seigny, La Maison de l'Escargot is located close to the Laumes-Alésia and Montbard train stations. The House offers a magnificent view of the Grignon hill, the Brenne River and the Burgundy Canal. Whether you are passing through or are regular visitors to our beautiful Côte d'Or, this is the ideal place to stay and a starting point for visiting many sites: Fontenay Abbey, Museoparc, Auxois Animal Park, Montbard, Semur en Auxois, Flavigny, Bussy Rabutin... The space You will be welcomed in this beautiful house of character where the floor is reserved for you. You have two rooms to choose from: - The Peony Room, equipped with a double bed (140 x 190) and a sofa bed (BZ type, very good bed) reserved for 1 adult or 2 children. If using the sofa bed, extra cost of €10 per night. - The Blue Room, equipped with a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed (90 x 190). If for 2 people you want both beds, extra cost of €10 per night. Also upstairs you will find the "Gauloise" bathroom with a 120x80 shower and separate toilet. The bathroom is to be shared when both bedrooms are booked by the same family or group of friends. We also offer you access to the large living room with Wi-Fi access. Books, board games, and a large-screen TV are available. In this living room with panoramic views of the countryside, you can enjoy the "homemade" breakfast, served from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Breakfast to be confirmed when you book (additional cost). Various baby items can be provided free of charge upon request (baby bed, highchair, early learning games). If you wish, we can prepare a tasting board of local products on the evening of your arrival (additional cost), so don't hesitate to contact us. There is no restaurant in the village and no access to the kitchen. Note: access to the large living room in the morning is exclusively reserved for breakfast service.
