Concan and the spring fed Frio River has been a favorite destination for many families since 1926. It is also the perfect place to be in the Off-Season: - Weather is great and less congested than in the summertime. - In the Spring birders travel from all over the country to see rare birds. All guests have access to the spring fed Swimming Hole. "Floating the Frio" has not been good for several years because of the drought. Pray for rain. The land and rivers are thirsty. The space Cabin rate varies. Rates are higher during the summer and some holidays. Click on calendar for rates. Booking this cabin gives you access to the Frio River's semi-private area below the cabin as well as free access to the "Concan Swimming Hole." Guest access Neal's Dining Room (which is a short walk from this cabin) is open from 8:00 am to 9:00 pm during the summer. Check for hours with Neal's Dining Room during the off-season. Limited restaurants in the area during the off-season; however, restaurants and events are planned during the April eclipse. Other things to note - AT & T is the only cell service provider in the area. - Wi-fi is available at the cabin.
