Stylish, Cozy Flat on a Quaint Street in Old Lisbon

Relax in style at this cozy ground-floor apartment situated in a small, traditional building in historic Madragoa. Crisp, white walls, hardwood floors, and patterned tiles give, this home an authentic and inviting Portuguese feel. The tiny and picturesque Madragoa is situated behind the waterfront district of Santos, and alongside Alfama, was home to Lisbon's fishwives and fishing community. The apartment is right in the middle of this quaint neighbourhood. The space We try our best to give our apartments a homely feeling, with personality touches that reflect not only ourselves, but also a typical Portuguese home. The objective is not only to make guests feel if they are part of the community, but also consider the apartment as their own home, from which they can explore Lisbon and to which they can come back to rest after an entire day of sightseeing. Guest access The apartment is located in a small and quaint XVIII century building, with three apartments, in the heart of the very typical Madragoa neighbourhood. The access to the apartment is very easy as it is on the ground-floor, ideally suited for guests with conditioned mobility and/or that travel with very heavy suitcases. Other things to note • Madragoa is fairly quiet but we do have a restaurant next door that, sometimes can be noisy, but mostly condensed to Friday’s and Saturday’s evenings. • If you would like to book our property during June, please be aware that the festivities in honor of Saint Anthony will take place during the first two weeks of the month. All Lisbon historic neighbourhoods, ours included, have very noisy street celebrations in honor of the Saint, especially during the weekend and, usually, these parties last until the early hours of the morning (2 or 3am), with the most important nights being from the 9th to the 10th and from the 12th to the 13th of June. Please message us for more information about this matter. • Our street is a cul-de-sac and the only way out for cars is backing up all the way up the street. • Extra housekeeping is charged at 15€/hour. • We can provide an extra set of bed sheets and towels for a cost of 25€.
