Private rooms with private access and parking. House overlooking Kenmare bay, approx 4km from Kenmare town which is renowned for it's beauty and culinary excellence. Ducks and chickens in spacious garden. The neighbourhood where we are situated has a number of homes with large garden spaces around them which makes each home very private and unique. There are working farms in the locality for sheep and cattle. We also have Sika deer which roam through the farms and gardens. Come and see! The space 2 ensuite bedrooms overlooking garden space. Garden furniture for guests use. 10min walk to Sailor's bar where the food is excellent and the company better. We are ideally located as a base for touring the Ring of Kerry and Beara Peninsulas, which are a spectacular part of the Wild Atlantic Way coastal route. Kenmare is a beautiful town nestled between the Macgillicuddy Reeks and the Caha Mountains. It is well known for it's quality bars and restaurants. It has good fishing both fresh water and salt. Walking, hill walking, cycling, canoeing, sailing, and golfing are all available locally. The area is steeped in history with many ancient sites that can be visited. There are Heritage parks within easy reach. There is a lively Irish music scene in the town and locality. Kenmare has a multi-use theatre where a variety of entertainment can be enjoyed, including cinema. All in all, there are many exciting things about Kenmare. I love living here and I think anyone who visits the area will fall in love with it. Guest access Guests enter through a private entrance for which a key will be provided. During your stay I am more than willing to offer advice on the locality and it's highlights. Trip planning is also given freely. Other things to note We had ducks and chickens free ranging in our garden. Unfortunately we had a visit from Mr. Fox so we are now down to 3 chickens and 1 Bantam rooster. Life in the countryside..
