Casa ALOHA is a holiday apartment with a private entrance located close walk OUTSIDE the Lagos town walls. It is a traditional Portuguese tiny house with details added to it and inspired by travels, surf and tropical vibes. We hope you feel comfy during your stay and also enjoy your time in Lagos town. It is a self catering accommodation for those to choose to find home away from home, please read the house instruction at check-in and we will only be available in the emergency. The space Casa Aloha is a traditional Portuguese tiny house with typical furniture, fireplace and a terrace with colourful bougainvillea framing it - we wanted to keep all these little details of the traditional Portuguese living, but also make it comfortable to stay in. The house is decorated with hand-crafted pieces, sourced furniture at antique markets and given a new touch by Ana, local art and things brought from our surf travels around the world. If you prefer minimalist and modern interiors Casa Aloha is probably not for you. PLEASE MIND, that it is neither a hotel nor a guesthouse, but self-catering apartment. We put a low cleaning fee of 35eur for the whole apartment and patio. It goes to cover cleaning time and laundry costs to turn-over for every next guests and also time to take care of the blooming garden we have. And we kindly ask you to be respectful to our place and to the next guests as well. Dogs are welcome with prior notice, extra charge +10€ applies. Pets are not allowed on the bed or sofa, extra charge might be applied if there is hair on it. Please just treat Casa Aloha like your home away from home, it’s not a hotel! Other things to note TO NOTE: We don't live in the house and only come to do a turn-over and check-ins, therefore we don't "use" the house ourselves, so please if you notice something doesn't work, a leak, a drain blockage, strange noises, smells etc etc, please let us know immediately. Please not that the door is self-locking and don’t misplace the keys inside. We will not be available to let you in at night. We have a responsible and trustworthy cleaning team, but let us know in person if it wasn't perfectly cleaned at your arrival and we send them again. The hot water is operated by gas bottles as most of the private houses in Lagos, there is a detailed description how to change the bottle in the house manual, please try yourself before calling us.
