Ideal for families, friends, companies and groups, for skiing in Grandvalira and enjoying Andorra and the mountains all year round. The space When you book Mountain Hostel Tarter, the entire hostel is exclusively for your group, with no other guests sharing the property. A traditional Andorran borda, fully renovated and designed for enjoying time together in the mountains. The house has two floors. On the ground floor you will find the communal areas: a fully equipped kitchen, dining area, lounge with fireplace and shared bathroom facilities. Upstairs are the 9 bedrooms and access to the terrace with a small heated outdoor pool with hydromassage. The house accommodates a maximum of 33 guests, across: 3 double rooms 4 rooms for 4 guests 1 room for 5 guests 1 room for 6 guests Bed linen and duvets are included. Towels are not included; you can bring your own or rent them at the hostel. The bedrooms do not have private bathrooms. The shared bathroom area has 5 showers and 4 toilets, all in individual lockable cubicles, as well as 4 washbasins. The kitchen is one of the main gathering places in the house. It is fully equipped with a fridge, oven, microwave, ceramic hob, toaster, pots, pans, cooking utensils, crockery, glasses and cutlery. Simply bring your food and organise your meals as you wish. Complimentary coffee and tea are available throughout your stay. On the upper terrace you will find our small heated outdoor pool with hydromassage and mountain views, available all year round. In winter, you can also enjoy our small Finnish sauna. A place designed for spending time together, sharing experiences and enjoying Andorra, with your own mountain house as your group's base. Guest access When you book the entire Mountain Hostel Tarter, your group will have exclusive access to all bedrooms, communal areas and guest facilities. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the house. If you are coming to ski, we have a ski storage room with boot dryers, where you can store your ski and snowboard equipment and have it ready for the next day. If you are bringing bikes, we have a secure storage area, a bike-washing area and basic tools for minor repairs. A washing machine and dryer are also available for an additional charge. On the upper terrace you will find our small heated outdoor pool with hydromassage, measuring 5 x 2.5 m and available all year round. In winter, our small Finnish sauna is also available. The pool and sauna can be used at the times agreed in advance during your stay and never later than 9:00 pm. We do not have private parking, but there is a large paid public parking area directly opposite the hostel, just across the road. Other things to note In El Tarter you will find a supermarket and several places to eat. Options may vary depending on the time of year, so if you are planning to cook during your stay, especially if you are a large group, we recommend organising your grocery shopping in advance. We are in a privileged location for enjoying the mountains all year round, very close to Grandvalira-El Tarter and between the Vall d'Incles and Vall de Ransol valleys. If you are coming to ski, we can help you organise your stay with Grandvalira ski passes, ski and snowboard lessons, equipment rental and other snow activities. During the snow-free months, Mountain Hostel Tarter is a great starting point for hiking and mountain bike routes for different levels. We can also help you arrange guided activities, via ferratas, mountain bike tours, canyoning and other mountain experiences. On the lower terrace of the property you will find Sa Terrasseta, our terrace with a food truck, which is also open to outside customers and has a separate entrance. Sa Terrasseta customers do not have access to the hostel or any of the facilities reserved for your group. Please bear in mind that we are located in a small mountain village and must respect our neighbours. Music and excessive noise are not permitted in the hostel's outdoor areas.
