Description
Welcome to Above GoodHawk. The rooms sit above our restaurant The GoodHawk and reflect inspiration we have found in art, nature, travel and a hint of Canadiana, each room is individually numbered and comes with its own key. We live on site, but separately from the guest suites. GoodHawk can accommodate up to 8 guests, if you are less than 8 and wish to book fewer rooms, then please visit our separate listings for each room and reserve the number of rooms that best suits your stay. The space With reserving all four guest suites you will enjoy, a sophisticated king with private ensuite, a funky yet refined queen, a set of whimsical twin beds and charming queen - the twin and queen rooms all share a bath. There is a fully equipped kitchen, separate coded entry, sunny deck with hot tub, BBQ, ample parking and you are more than welcome to use any part of the backyard. All four of our guest rooms are located on the second floor, above our restaurant The GoodHawk; the guest kitchen is on the ground level. Please note that there is no living room, as the rooms were created to support our "eating house" downstairs. While we welcome children, we are by no means child proof. There is also a resident Bernese Mountain Dog named Hudson, you might see him in the backyard. GoodHawk has been a country home, local shop, inn and restaurant. We live on-site and have been working to resurrect it's culinary bones and are now happy to welcome guests to The GoodHawk dining room downstairs. Guest access As previously stated, the guest suites are separate from our living quarters, however, guests are welcome to share and enjoy the sizeable backyard - we hang hammocks when it's not raining. Guests also have priority access to a small private deck, BBQ and hot tub. Other things to note We ask that all guests respect the space and neighbourhood while visiting and exercise basic common sense. Thanks all.
