Want a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature and animals, but with access to all that Austin has to offer? Get the best of both worlds in our private guest house apartment on a 6 acre animal sanctuary. We have everything you need to relax: swimming pool, a hammock, a pond, nature trails, access to Colorado river, and animals galore! You'll literally have birds flying over your head. We're about 10 min. east of airport (30 min. to downtown) with easy access to Circuit of the Americas and Bastrop The space We are home to over 60 animals including goats, parrots, sheep, pigs, horses, emus, chickens and guinea fowl. NOTE: Guest apartment is an UPSTAIRS unit. Guest access You can access anywhere in the front yard, pool area (which is separate fenced from front yards and back of property), and guest house. The back of the property is where we house animals, so is off limits without us present. We will be happy to take you back there though so you can interact with the animals! Other things to note We allow some pets, but please contact us about any pet you'd like to bring because we need to make sure we can keep all of our animals safe here. And some of them are able to move freely about the property (i.e. we have birds that fly around that may not be suitable for some pets). The pool is shared, but we are more than happy to give you some private time.
