Oporto Vintage Art Suite with Patio and Kitchen

The Suite is located in the ground floor of a renovated typical Porto XIX century house. Its romantic atmosphere will transport you to the end of the XIX century, with all the modern comforts. The room comprises an entrance hall, a bedroom, a dressing room, a bathroom, and a private patio. It is decorated with vintage furniture and objects from a collection of primary school memorabilia as well as old books. Guests will have access to a small but fully equipped kitchen in the patio. The space The Oporto Vintage Art Suite is on the ground floor of a rehabilitated house, typical of the end of the century XIX, where there is another independent space for rent (Oporto Pop Art Suite). The suite is very spacious (40m2), being distinctive features of it, the existence in the bathroom of a bathtub and a private patio. The room is equipped with a comfortable double bed, nightstands, an LCD TV with cable channels (AXN, BBC, Fox, etc.), a reclining chair and coffee table, as well as a vintage desk. There is the possibility of putting an extra single bed for a third guest (this bed can accommodate one adult but it is ideal for children). The closet has a large space to pack clothes and luggage. In the bathroom, in addition to the toilet and sink, you will find a shower and bathtub. On the patio there is a table with chairs, so you can relax. Guests will have access to a small fully equipped kitchen with exclusive access on the patio. The space The suite is very spacious (forty square meters). Two its remarkable features are the bathtub and the private patio. The bedroom is equipped with a comfortable double bed, nightstands, a LCD TV with cable channels (e.g., AXN, BBC, Fox, etc.), an armchair and coffee table, and a vintage desk. There is the possibility of adding an extra single bed for a third guest (this extra bed can accomodate an adult but is especially suited for a child). The dressing room has ample space to hang clothing and store luggage. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, a wash-basin, shower, and a bathtub. The private patio has a table and chairs to sit and enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. In the patio guests will have access to a small kitchen/laundry (for their exclusive use) equipped with minibar, microwave, kettle, expresso machine, toaster, induction cooker, washing machine, kitchenware, and complimentary coffee, sugar and seasonings. Guest access The suite is located on the ground floor and guests have access to it through the main entrance of the house. With the exception of the entrance hall, which leads to the upper floors, guests will not have to pass through the inhabited area of the house, thus ensuring their independence and privacy. Guests will be given the room and house key so they can come and go as they please. A small flight of stairs in the private courtyard gives access to the garden of the house, which is on two levels. On the first level, guests can have a glass of wine sitting at a solid wood table once used in a theatrical production of Chekhov, take a nap in a Brazilian hammock in the shade of the magnolia, or enjoy the lawn in the garden on the second level. Guest access The suite is located on the ground floor of the house and guests have access to it through the main entrance of the house. They do not have to pass through common areas, other than the hall which leads to the upper floors. Guests will be given a set of keys so that they can come and go as they please. In the private patio, up a small flight of stairs, awaits our two-storey romantic garden, where you can sip a drink on a wooden table used during a production of one of Chekhov's plays, take a nap in the Brazilian hammock beneath a magnolia tree, or relax on the upper lawn. During your stay Since I work close to home I am generally available to answer any questions that guests may have, as well as share information and tips about my favorite places and other neighborhood and Porto curiosities. Guests have available to consult the monthly number of Time Out Porto and a tour guide of the city. Interaction with guests I work nearby so I am usually available to help with any of our guests’ needs. I would be delighted to share fun and fascinating things about the neighbourhood, my favorite places and local interests with you. Porto monthly Time Out magazine and a city guide will be available for consultation. Other things to note This suite leads to the back garden and as such is very quiet. It is allowed to smoke on the private patio and garden. You have access to a small kitchen/laundry fully equipped for the exclusive use of guests, who will be able to prepare light meals.
