My place is close to Kastanienallee, on the 5th floor without an elevator and a nice view of the TV Tower. You have beautiful views and sunsets over a park and the roof tops through 2 big windows with french balconies. There are lots of south facing windows and a balcony to the backyard (officially a fire rescue balcony. So please be sure not disturb the neighbors!) The Area is full of bars, restaurants and clothing shops, and on weekends there are grocery and fleamarkets close by. The space The Apartment is on the 5th floor without an elevator and will reward you with a nice view of the TV Tower in the south. Out front you have a view facing west towards Kastanienallee over the small park across the street to the roof tops through 2 big window doors with french balconies. You'll get beautiful sunsets there! There are lots of south facing windows and a balcony to the backyard that is officially a fire rescue balcony. So please be sure not to block it or disturb the neighbors!! Behind the kitchen there is the bathroom with bath tub and washing machine. There is a new kingsize bed (1,80 x 2,00) with a new mattress in the living space. An inflatable mattress (2,00 x 1,60) can be provided extra. The street is extremely quiet with an exclusive atmosphere. The traffic is very limited because of the traffic-calmed-zone. Nevertheless the apartment is very central because of the nearby Schönhauser Allee and Kastanienallee. The Area is full of bars, restaurants and clothing shops, and on weekends there are grocery markets and fleamarkets in walking distance. It is a very urban and hip part of Berlin to live. The connection to other parts of the city is very good because the U Bahn Station Eberswalder Str (U2) and the Tram (through Kastanienallee or Danziger Str.) are very close. In case you'd like to exercise while in Berlin, there is a newly built public outdoor gym in the park right across the street. There are also 2 pingpong tables, you'll find rackets and balls in the apartment. Inside the apartment you'll find a pull-up bar, a TRX and 2 dumbbells.
