The space [Our Story] Early morning - Golden sunlight, through the mist in the valley, cast on the Qingjing Farm. The awakened earth is suddenly filled with vigorous vitality, as if all life is leaping, but the atmosphere is so peaceful and quiet. As I walk through the garden, I can feel the little white flowers blooming in the morning sun. The petals are set against the sparkling dew, making it look even more pure and elegant. In 1961, a group of national servicemen who retreated from Yunnan and Myanmar to Taiwan landed on this highland farm. After the war, they started a new home here. The early living environment was so difficult. To be honest, I was still young at the time, and I didn't really suffer, but all the testimonies were engraved on my parents' hands. In my childhood memories, there was no such thing as a mechanical hand, and the terraced fields built up by stones were all opened up by my parents with their bare hands. But hard work does not necessarily pay off. In the summer harvest season, sudden typhoons often sweep away the alpine vegetables and fruits that are to be harvested. I remember on the night of a big typhoon, I could feel the house shaking in the wind, and my father desperately held the creaking door, fearing that the entire wooden bungalow would be swept away by the gale. The next day, the scene after the storm made people feel like they were alive. This is how my parents raised us five siblings, and I have never seen them complain to God or bow to reality. My home also took root and sprouted in Qingjing!Just like this mountain, as long as you don't leave the land, you can grow and thrive. I traveled all over the world, only to discover that the truest and best place was on this land in front of me. Ching Ching gave me the same feeling as it did 30 years ago, peaceful, quiet, and full of vitality. The land in front of us is the result of our parents' hard work for a lifetime.
