In our family/hipster neighbourhood, enjoy the best food stores of Paris on the busy Belleville street and relax in the beautiful Buttes Chaumont Park. Very convenient to visit Paris, you reach the city center in 10 min by subway. The space Our architectural home is located in the 19th Arrondissement of Paris. The street is a pedestrian only thoroughfare - therefore very quiet. You can only hear the soft conversations of passersby and children playing. For those who are joggers or walkers, this apartment is not far from the Buttes - Chaumont. This park sports running trails, puppet shows and donkey rides. It is a favourite Parisian "spot" in the warmer months as children and families takes picnic baskets for outside dining. Very close to the subway stop Jourdain, the line 11 will take you in 10 minutes to Chatelet (city center). In our family/hipster (Bobo) neighbourhood you will also find the greatest food stores of Paris on the busy Belleville Street We are both architects and we designed and built our house. The bedroom is on the upper level. There is lot of sunlight with the large open windows. We hope you can sleep with daylight because there are no shutters. The bathroom is as well very bright with its large window. It has a bathtub/shower combination, a washbasin and toilet. On the ground floor, you will find a large living area with a fully equipped kitchen. We love to cook! There is a small private patio at the entry as well for morning coffee or evening suppers. The basement is the largest room of the house. It has some natural light coming from the stairs. We use it has a desk/TV/living room. We have 2 sofas bed. There is a a small toilet area with a washer/dryer machine. This house is ideal for 2 couples or a couple with 2 teenagers (older than 13). As you can see on the pictures there are no handrails on the stairs and even if we have a 4 years old daughter, we don't take a risk to rent our place to families with children. You can just hear the conversations of locals and the kids playing outside. For joggers or walkers the house is close to Buttes Chaumont. There is a theater in Guignols, a carousel, towers of ponies. It is one of the most sought-after areas to go as a family picnic. Very close to the Jourdain metro stop, it's 10 minutes in central Paris by line 11. In our Bobo neighborhood, we can say that you can find the best food shops in the capital on Rue de Belleville. We are both architects and we designed our house. The bedroom is on the upper level. It is very clear behind its bay window. On the other hand, it is difficult to make the dark because there is no shutter, so you must like to sleep with the daylight. The bathroom is very clear also with windows. There is a sink, bathtub, and wc. On the ground floor, there is a large living room with living room and kitchen. This one is fully equipped (induction, oven, microwave, etc.). We love to cook! Extending this room we have a small gravel patio and white brick wall where it is possible to dine or have breakfast. The basement is the largest room in the house. It is naturally lit by the stairs hopper. We use it as a desk, TV room, living room, or spare room. We've got two sofa beds. There is another toilet and basin as well as a washing/drying machine. The house is ideal for 2 couples or for a cut with one or 2 teenagers (13 + years old) As you can see in the photos there is no railing on the stairs and even if we have a 4-year-old little girl we do not want to take the risk of hosting families with children.
