Sometimes it takes longer time for hot water to arrive, please be patient. If you like to take long showers, please check some other apartments available. In Old Town we do not have central hot water system because most of the building are old historical monuments. In the apartment there is central heating and it is not possible to regulate temperature yourself. There is portable heater available if you like, just let me know. Each apartment has bathroom, kitchen and everything you might need. Simple modern Ikea style layout and furniture. On top of the church there is the most famous view point of the city - you can take an elevator up and just admire the view. Keep in mind this in not a brand new New York City skyscaper with all the fancy amenities :) This is really the most central location in Old Town and some summer nights it will get very lively and loud outside. All Old Town Riga gets very loud in summer, please think and decide if this is ok for you and only then book my place. Please later do not complain that there is a noise. I live in Old Town for many years and I do not feel the noise, much quitter then at my apartment in New York. You can smoke downstairs in the backyard.
