The space Come stay with us in our traditional Chaoueni house that boasts amazing views of the mountain overlooking the blue city. The name Lazrak means blue in Arabic, which also happens to be Mehdi's family name! I'm a Kiwi and my husband is a born and bred Chaoueni. We love to travel and speak a handful of languages between the two of us. We do not live in the house, but you will be hosted by Mehdi's mum, Fatima & Mehdi's brother, Otman who live 2 minutes from the house. If you need any assistance, all you need to do is ask them! A traditional delicious full Moroccan breakfast, lovingly made by Fatima (Mehdi's mum) is available for 37 dh per person, please advise if you would like this. We can't wait for you to soak up the warm Moroccan sun on our terrace while reading, sipping coffee, meditating or just enjoying the breathtaking view. P.S In accordance with Moroccan legislation, couples in which at least one of the travelers is Moroccan must provide a marriage certificate. Guest access You will be staying in our home. Aside from your own room, you are welcome to use the living room, bathroom, and kitchen. We highly recommend that you take advantage of the terrace while here! Other things to note Chefchaouen is a small, conservative town and as such, we would recommend travellers (especially female) to dress conservatively out of respect for the locals. If you are a couple of which at least one is a Moroccan citizen, you must bring a copy of your marriage certificate in accordance with the law in Morocco. Please note there are some narrow stairs which you will be required to climb to access the bathroom, kitchen and terrace. If you have difficulty with climbing stairs, please be aware our house may not be suitable for you.
