The space A tranquil studio situated in the city center of Thessaloniki with a double bed and a sofa easily transformed in a double bed, accommodates up to 4 people.The street where the apartment is located is quiet and safe, even in the center of the city. Furthermore, you may find a laundry, banks, bakeries, local specialties such as handmade traditional Greek pies, coffee shops, patisseries, Greek traditional taverns in Athonos square, modern restaurants, open and closed food markets,S/M etc. The space The special thing about this studio (30m2) is that it constituted an architect’s workplace for more than 30 years, something that inspired me to restore and reuse some parts of furniture, elements, a wall-paper, a washbasin, the mosaic floor and combine them with future interior design techniques and modern materials. It really gave me the opportunity to travel the Thessaloniki of the 70s, 80s and today. I hope you may feel the same while being in the heart of the city’s shopping center, major seesights, nightlife, old markets, in a walking distance of 2 to 5 minutes from the main Aristotelous square, the seaside and the city’s trademark, the White Tower. Arriving at the loft you will find all kinds of clean linen, duvet covers, pillow cases, sheets and protective bed covers, blankets, big and small face towels. There is enough space to place your personal belongings. Wi-fi internet access is also available. You may prepare your breakfast and a coffee in the kitchenette, equipped with a coffee machine, water-boiler/kind of evaporator, toast bread machine and a refrigerator. There is no equipment to prepare meals but you will find dinnerware sets including plates, side plates, cutlery and glasses. The lighting effects will help you either relax, work or enjoy your stay! There is a separate washbasin area with a big mirror and a WC place which is also used as a shower cabin. So please pay attention because due to construction issues shower cabin is not separated (see in the photo). There is an instant heater for water located in WC. Ηeating and cooling by air-conditioning and electric radiator. For extra privacy and noise isolation there is a sliding door separating the main area of the apartment from the entrance hall. This place is highly recommended to couples, business and solo travellers, suitable for adults and not for small children (especially under the age of 10). The entrance of the apartment is on the first-floor accessed by going up a few stairs easy to carry your luggage or from the second floor by using the elevator of the building. Other things to note I would kindly ask you to respect the local law about noise from 15.00 to 17.30 and 23.00 to 07.00 and have in mind that the loft is situated in a quiet and friendly building where families and working people live. Do not place the degree of the instant water heater above 45 degrees. Throw toilet paper, trash and garbage in the bins provided and please don’t leave them for days in the flat. Be careful because the system in Greece blocks the wc if you throw papers or any other material, especially in the toilet. - There are green bins in front of the building to dispose of house hold garbage. - Turn off the lights and the air-conditioning before leaving the apartment and/or during the hours you are not there (the place is small and heating conditions makes it really warm).
