Apt #3 - Unbeatable City Centre location!
Description
A small one bedroom apartment with one bathroom en-suite, on the second floor with double bedroom, bathroom & sitting-room/kitchen is perfectly located in the quiet district of Temple bar slap bang in the heart of Dublin City Centre. Offering prime City living overlooking the gates of Dublin Castle. Encompassing Temple Bar, City Hall, Christchurch, Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College and Guinness storehouse a short stroll away. Dublin's best is right at your doorstep! The space Our property is available to rent for that perfect short City break. My house is more than three centuries old, and this compact apartment has without question an unbeatable view towards the prestigious Dame Street. Inside the apartment has been newly refurbished. Our building has its quirks, is rather slender with a narrow steep stairs in a prime City Centre location. The house is in an amazing location. Dublin got its name from "Dubh" meaning black and "linn" meaning pool (in Irish) which is named after the black river poddle. Interestingly this river Poddle is now concealed and runs right under our street, which used to be the river that transported goods to Dublin Castle. **PLEASE NOTE OUR PROPERTY IS CONSERVED SO THERE IS NO LIFT TO THIS APARTMENT. GUESTS WILL HAVE STEPS ON THE ORIGINAL NARROW STAIRCASE OF THE MAIN HOUSE. NOT SUITABLE FOR VERY HEAVY LUGGAGE. So if your knees are good and your heart in ship shape, prime City living is worth the climb! ***We regret we cannot be wheelchair accessible. Due to fire safety each units rooms must be fitted with fire exit lights. If over sensitive to light, please bring an eye mask. APARTMENT IS STRICTLY NON SMOKING & NON PARTY LISTING. Our location could not be more convenient! From the large windows in the sitting room you can see Dublin Castle pedestrian gate and the cute little French cafe perched at the entrance gates. One street behind us is the famous Temple Bar where the craic is mighty! (Great fun) Standing at our front door you can see Trinity College to your right and Christ Church Cathedral to your left. Although our property is on the edge of the Temple Bar district we also have the added advantage of not being in the craziness of Temple Bar main street itself, so you can sleep in the standard double bedroom tucked away to the rear of the property. On occasion the Olympia Theatre can host great acts like Emelie Sandé, Rod Stuart or great broadway shows, tickets book out fast so do check out what's on Olympia Dublin before arrival to avoid disappointment. Don't worry that we are so close to the theatre background music may only be heard on very odd gigs but this finishes at 11pm sharp for residents. Guest access My guests will have full private access to the entire apartment during their stay, we do not live here so no sharing with us. This consists of a very comfortable standard double bedroom 4ft 6” bed (full), a cosy sitting room with a three seater couch/sofa bed, cosy carpets throughout. We have one bathroom/shower inside the bedrooom, kitchen with mini fridge, hob, oven, microwave, coffee machine for light snacks. Please note: If you are two guests planning on using sofa bed during your stay and you haven’t paid for the third guest there will be an extra charge to cover laundering charges. Please let us know in advance and we can get this arranged for you. Other things to note HOUSE MANUAL - WIFI & APPLIANCES DRINKING WATER The cold tap provides safe drinking water for guests.
