Spacious Bay House on Jasper Lake

There is a 4 night minimum stay May - mid October. The Bay House is a beautifully hand-crafted cabin located on Jasper Lake. The Bay House sleeps 7 guests in 3 large bedrooms. There are two 2 bathrooms. The lower level features a large sun room, a kitchen and generous dining & living areas all with spectacular views of the lake from spacious decks. The Bay House ideal for hosting holidays & family/friend reunions. The space This fantastic cabin was built by by Don with locally harvested trees that were milled and molded on the property. We recently remodeled the home with a variety of comfortable lounging spaces! Two dinning areas, a large kitchen and living room plus a sunroom that easily accommodates our guests. There is a beautifully done three season porch through a set of french doors with fantastic views of Jasper Lake with a table for board games and cards for rainy days. The front deck, just off the dining room through the sliding glass door; overlooks the lake. Off the kitchen door is another 'L' shaped deck that faces south, west, and north to catch the sun in almost every position! An outside fire pit with seating is also available for guests to enjoy an evening campfire, roast marshmallows with kids (or grown up kids), and enjoy adult beverages. A great place to relax, or to try to stay awake and get a glimpse of possible northern lights! Guest access Guests of the Bay House can enjoy the entire property, including a shared wood fired sauna, our entire 510 foot natural lakeshore, dock and beach access. There is a small sand beach for sunbathing, a floating dock for swimming out to and a permanent dock for landing your canoes and your fishing pleasures. Three aluminum canoes with paddles and life jackets are included. Other things to note A very highly regarded fishing and canoe guide service, Jasper Creek Guide Service, Inc. (2018 marks Don Beans' 35th. year serving the lake country vacationer) is available on premises along with additional outdoor oriented services: fishing and day trip packages; additional canoes, kevlar canoe upgrade, towboat service to remote BWCA and Quetico Park wilderness access points including the Canadian border, shuttling of gear and canoes to area landings, camping equipment rentals, and complete outfitting services. The upstairs of this building is also the Owner's home and they are available by phone for anything you may need while on vacation. We can also arrange fresh bakery products from Northern Grounds along with picnic lunches, and charcuterie plates to be deliver to your door with a 24 hour notice. We guarantee that you will not be disappointed! This is a summer-only property. We do not accept reservations for the Bay House during the colder months between mid October to May. Please note: the Owners live on this eight acre property (the first home you see when you drive in) along with their group of friendly dogs, who will most likely run out to meet you by the Jasper Company sign at the end of the driveway. As you proceed down the driveway, you will see The Guest House on the left. Continue down the driveway to a sharp right hand turn and proceed down to the Bay House. Look for the sign.
